The 2017 annual seminar 2017 of the Interreg V-A France-Italy ALCOTRA Programme will be held on 21 September in Cuneo, Piedmont, on the occasion of the “European Cooperation Day”.
The target audience of this event are the Programme’s partner administrations, the project promoters and beneficiaries, civil society and the general public. For this 2017 edition, the privileged guests and the presenters of the day will be the youth: the actors of present and future cross-border cooperation.
The day is organised in two sessions:
1 – In the morning, an institutional round-table discussion entitled “Cross-border cooperation seen and driven by young people” is planned.
A special focus will be given to Integrated Thematic and Territorial Plans (PITEM and PITER) and on the simple projects of the 1st and 2nd calls for proposals that have involved young people. This session will be the occasion to inform about the progress of the Programme and, this year, about the selected PITEM and PITER.
2 – The afternoon session will be dedicated to four workshops: a technical workshop on the building of PITEM’s and PITER’s simple projects, and other three thematic workshops on the present and the future of cross-border cooperation seen by young people.
In the evening, some cultural and festive activities will take place with the aim to involve a broader public. In particular, an Italian-French DJ set will celebrate Europe with music, while in a dedicated “Youth&Europe Space” people will be free to enjoy Europe-themed body-painting and wall-writing sessions.
