The Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia will celebrate the European Cooperation Day with an outdoor photo exhibition between 21 September and 1 October 2017, in Kölcsey Street (next to the Reök Palace), downtown Szeged, Hungary.
The Photo Exhibition will feature the best 12 photos selected within the Photo Contest Beautiful sights of the Hungary-Serbia border region, which lasted between 8 August and 10 September 2017. The Jury of the Photo Contest selected the First-place and the Second-place photos, and the public votes on the Facebook page of the Programme in the period 1-10 September 2017 determined the Third-place photo. Moreover, the Jury selected additional nine photos which will also be featured in the outdoor Photo Exhibition, and receive the Programme-branded gifts.
The European Cooperation Day is an annual celebration taking place on 21 September and surrounding weeks. Different regions in Europe, including the neighbouring countries of the European Union, celebrate the achievements of territorial cooperation on that occasion. This year, the Programme will extend the European Cooperation Day celebration beyond the month of September, as the 12 photos from this Photo Exhibition will be published in the Programme’s 2018 print calendar.
