The European Cooperation Day, established in 2012, involves more than 40 Countries belonging to the European Union and the neighboring Countries, joined by the Cooperation Programs, which, in more than 25 years of implementation, have had significant impacts in each territories, eliminating borders and reducing disparities between the regions of Europe.
For the 2017 edition, the Agency for Territorial Cohesion organize a day to animate the debate between Central and Regional Administrations and stakeholders of international relevance on the themes and priorities of ongoing Interregional, Transnational and Cross-Border Cooperation Programs, with a specific focus on mainstreaming, Mediterranean Policies, Macro-regional Strategies and the post-2020 programming period.
